And it is Aragorn https://www.sideshowtoy.com/cgi-bin/...gory=010306ara
The likeness looks somewhat off to me (granted I think Viggo is real picky about releasing his likeness)
I may end up getting it.. But I'm definately getting a Legolas

I really like the look they went for - it is *slightly* off around the eyes, but the chin, nose and mouth are dead on. I like that they are going for his more thoughtful appearance, since we already have enough of the gritty, fighting grimace look.

You're right.. That's where it's throwing me off is the brow area..And yeah, it's a nice change to have a more contemplative Aragorn.

LOL If you go to the LOTR portion of Sideshow's website, they show the full look of the Aragorn figure as it is the "mascot" for the 12inch figures link, just as Lurtz is the mascot for the Premium Format figures link.. Granted it's a smaller picture and hard to determine the detail, but they goofed themselves up.. I find it hilarious..

hmmm. I dunno..he sort of looks constipated to me, not thoughtful. or if he is thinking, it's "damn, I shouldn't have eaten all of that cheese".
I love the premium format Lurtz, and have high hopes for the 12" line (I just recently figured out that the 12" and the premium format ones are two totally different things), so way to go sideshow for making my bank account constantly strained. and here I was thinking it was safe now that the sideshow/weta LOTR line is done with...

yeah i don't like this thing too much, but then i never had any intention to buy any lord of the rings figures. i'm much more excited about the star wars...well that is if they give me some of the random more obscure people i want and not just reshashes of the main characters in a new scale

I also fing him weird... kinda like if he hadn't eaten in days
I think his lips are also too wide, but that's just my opinion.

Aragorn is cool but the likness isent that spot on.. so far of all aragonrns I have seen I like the 18 inch Neca as a top favorite, I would be interested in a few the 12 inch LOTR figs if they make any and them same I am with the SW dolls.. The Anakin looks great ..the luke well I dont like luke that much.
